I know the Tribes playerbase will always be fractured into. MidAir seemed promising as a new tribes, but I haven't put enough effort into it, and there doesn't appear to be a big playerbase. I wonder if anyone will take on the challenge of making a new Tribes anytime soon. Perhaps people are beginning to be ready for more Tribes-like play. But perhaps it's the start of a bigger trend. Overwatch has really done a good job of getting the best of both worlds of normal FPS and mixing in some FPS-Z elements. ![]() It's been a fun and innovative time, but the high stakes fast paced multiplayer action of Tribes continues to reign supreme. Honestly, I've really enjoyed how FPS games are pushing more in that direction. ![]() ![]() I'd settle for any new fastpaced FPS-Z multiplayer out there that has people playing it. ![]()
